Philadelphia Bakery gives wedding cake table advice

Philadelphia bakery gives wedding cake table advice
Good Afternoon from your Philadelphia Bakery Imagicakes Cake Designers.

I just wanted to take a moment to address the issue of wedding cakes and tables versus stands. Customers ask us us for our advice as to whether to use a cake table or a stand for their wedding cakes. Although there is no set rule we try to use some simple guidelines in this decision.

1. Cost- a cake table is definitely less expensive
2. Cake Design- multi tiered and levelled cakes especially those with fountains and such cannot fit on a cake stand

There are other factors to consider but both presentations can be done elegantly by the addition of fresh flowers vines and effect lighting. Be creative!
Our Philadelphia bakery also offers table or stand decorating and rental services with every wedding cake offer.

When its time for your special day remember that its the details that make your wedding cake presentation glow.

Philadelphia Bakery Imagicakes Cake Pics

Philadelphia bakery Custom cake Photos
Hi Again from your Philadelphia Bakery, Imagicakes Cake Designers

Just felt like showing off some of the cakes done this weekend at our bakery in Philadelphia. Take a look at these photos I will also describe the cake flavors and fillings yummy. We actually got a chance (thanks to one of our more daring customers) to prepare my Favorite Dulce de Leche cake. Its more of a hybrid cake because the actual recipe is too moist for cake construction.

At our bakery in Philadelphia we prepare the cake using a extra moist yellow cake with pudding in the batter. While the cake is still warm it is liberally brushed with heated evaporated milk combined 50/50 with condensed milk. The cake is then filled with a layer of light chocolate butter cream and our own bakery prepared caramel filling.

The next cake was a Diaper bag done for a baby shower. The Cake is marble with a butter cream filling and frosting.

Have great Night!
